Area Info

The North Myrtle Beach area includes Windy Hill Beach, Crescent Beach, Ocean Drive Beach and Cherry Grove Beach. The City has about 9 miles of wide beautiful beach and is about 17 square miles in area. Serviced by it's own regional airport, there are more than 14,000 permanent residents with more than 4 million annual visitors. There are many theatres, shopping centers, restaurants, parks golf courses and other family recreation facilities within the city limits.

Main Street has locally owned family businesses, restaurants, gift shops and even a world famous "oldies music store".

Just a couple miles north is Cherry Grove with the famous Cherry Grove Pier which is known by locals and visitors as one of the best fishing spots along the east coast.

With Myrtle Beach and all it's attractions just minutes away, North Myrtle Beach is a great place to vacation, away from all the heavy traffic and hustle of Myrtle Beach.

Driving Directions

Traveling South

From Highway 9

Take Hwy. 9 to Hwy. 17 exit. Go over the Intracoastal bridge on Hwy 17 entering into North Myrtle Beach and turn left at the 4th stop light (Main Street). Grand Strand Resorts will be on your left, approximately two blocks down, at 408 Main St. (where time and temperature sign is on left).

Traveling North

From Highway 501
Take Hwy 501 to Hwy 17 Bypass towards North Myrtle Beach, passing Broadway at the Beach and Planet Hollywood. Continue heading North, you will pass Dixie Stampede, and shortly thereafter you will pass the Super Wal-mart (on the right) bringing you into the city of North Myrtle Beach. Continue North on Hwy 17 approximately 3 miles past Barefoot Landing (on the left). Go through 10 stop lights - to Main St. and turn right. Grand Strand Resorts will be on your left, approximately two blocks down, at 408 Main St. (Where time and temperature sign is on the left).

From Hwy. 22
Continue North on Hwy 17 approximately 2 miles to Barefoot Landing (on the left). You will be entering North Myrtle Beach here. Stay on Hwy 17 North and go through 10 stop lights then turn right on Main Street. Grand Strand Resorts will be on your left, approximately two blocks down, at 408 Main St. (Where time and temperature sign is on the left).

If Traveling By Air

Myrtle Beach International Airport (843-448-1589) has several daily flight services by major airlines. Our office is approximately 18 miles North of the airport. Transportation by cab, limousine or coach is readily available upon arrival.
