The 51st Annual Canadian-American Days Festival takes place from March 10-18 this year. This festival was first started in 1961 as an event for Canadians visiting the Myrtle Beach area during their spring school break. It has grown into a major rite of spring celebration not only for visiting Canadians, but for all guests and locals in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, area. Beginning on Thursday, March 15, 2012 and continuing through March 17, is the 24th Annual Run to the Sun car show. Three days full of cruising along Ocean Boulevard, Car Shows and races bring in car enthusiasts from all over.
