We are talking about an enormous suspended playground or obstacle course. This way you and your family have the maximum fun and never, we can see it will be easy to have lots of fun at this new structure.
This water park at the North Myrtle Beach Parks & Sports Complex will be open to the general public, with the large floating complex used in part by the Shark Wake Park area across from the baseball fields. Plan a vacation this year to North Myrtle Beach and you’ll be one of the first to experience a brand-new attraction to the area.

When planning your trip to North Myrtle Beach, you will find it is home to the best surfing spots in East Coast for new surfers. On a typical day, the waves are of average size making it easier for the first time and less experienced surfers to navigate the waters easily and still have a great time.
The knee-high waves are best suited for body surfing which is the best place to start for those who want to become good stand-up surfers. If you have a bit of experience and would like to try standup surfing, you can keep tabs on the waves at Surf-Forecast to determine the appropriate time. Look for breaks exceeding two-to-three feet to make sure you’re poised for a fun day on the water.

The surfing boards for hire are delivered to you quickly after making an order.
While at the beach, you can also enjoy parasailing, which involves flying on a boat propelled parachute. While exploring surfing may be fun for you, not everyone in your group may want to join you — do not worry, there is plenty to do at the beach.
The weather at North Myrtle Beach is usually favorable for water sports and outdoor activities in the better part of the year. Sunshine and blue skies begin from early spring through late fall and sometimes extends deep into the Fall months. July is normally the hottest month of the year while January is the coldest. It is, therefore, advisable to visit the beach between March and November, although you will be met with much smaller beach crowds during the Winter months.
If you love scenic and historical tours, you can take a trip to the wet, wild side of Myrtle Beach. Some of the areas to visit include the Cherry Grove Beach Park, a protected environmental site and the La Belle Amie Vineyard, a pastoral family-owned winery nestled in a forest of pines and oaks. If you are wine and nature lover, the La Belle will give you a lifetime experience. The vineyard is open from Monday to Saturday and is among the best places for live music and festivals in North Myrtle Beach.
There are many other great places to visit in North Myrtle Beach for a memorable experience. The diverse culture of the east coast is in itself very exciting. If you love taking risks, the beaches along the East Coast offer some of the best water experiences.

When it comes to finding fun things to experience on your family vacation this year, North Myrtle Beach is the place to visit. This is where you can experience lots of authentic family fun that is guaranteed to bring your family closer together rather than spread them further apart.
Leave all those electronic devices at home or back in where you’re staying, pack a picnic lunch and head out to the beach for the day. Once there, spread out your blanket on the sand, drop your gear, and designate this home base. Then together, as a family, start walking the beachfront looking for shells. Don’t forget your camera! The shelling in this area of coastal South Carolina is simply awesome and everyone is looking for the largest, most perfect shell they can find to commemorate this year’s vacation. Some people collect certain types of shells to take home and make crafts with or decorate their own gardens, while others just want a small memento as a keepsake.
An extra special way to capture this year’s family vacation for all time while having fun is to arrange to have a family beach portrait taken. There are a number of professional photographers in the Myrtle Beach area (like Kristopher Gerner) that would be delighted to arrange for a photo shoot with you and your family. They’ll provide you with everything you need to know to prepare. You can count on having a great photo of your family to hang on your wall at home.
Some of the most excitement you will ever have as a family can be had on private fishing charters. Whether you fish the inlets and marshes, inshore, or out in the deep waters of the Atlantic, you’re sure to bring home plenty of fish if you opt to keep them but catch-and-release is alright, too.
Charter companies like Fish Hook Charters and Hurricane Fleet offer half day and all day fishing trips on a variety of different size boats. If you’ve never fished before or think you can’t go because you don’t have the equipment, that’s not a problem. Many of the fishing charter companies will supply everything you need including a SC fishing license and will also provide complete instruction on how to fish. You can even count on them to help you reel that big one into the boat!
Ask about meals because you may want to bring your own but many charter companies can arrange for meals and beverages to be included in the cost of their chartered trips. Don’t forget your camera! You’ll want to take lots of pictures once everyone in the family has reeled in their catch of the day. This is one of those days that you will remember for the rest of your lives as being some of the most family fun you’ve ever experienced. We promise you that!
If you haven’t secured your accommodations as of yet, take a look at the special deals we can provide you with at Grand Strand Resorts.
