While the Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand region is known for their championship golf, there are plenty of other things to do here besides golf and go to the beach. We realize that some of you would prefer to spend all of your time on the courses, day in and day out, but in most cases you’ll have some time off of the courses to check out the area and all it has to offer. Believe it or not, there are also people who don’t ever play golf at all. So when you’re looking for things to do outside of your North Myrtle Beach condo rental you might consider some of the local events and entertainment venues that the area offers.
Take a trip to Broadway at the Beach or Barefoot Landing and explore all the shops, entertainment venues and restaurants. For those who enjoy live theatre or dinner theatre, check out the many venues for theatre including Palace Theatre, Alabama Theatre, The Carolina Opry, Dixie Stampede, Legends in Concert, Carolina Improv Company and Medieval Times, to name a few.
If you enjoy a good baseball game, and who doesn’t, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Minor League Baseball team will be playing home games in Myrtle Beach this summer with fireworks following these select games, weather permitting. For April the home games will be April 15-17, and 22-28. All games start at 7:05 p.m. and are held at BB&T Coastal Field in the heart of Myrtle Beach.
Once you set foot away from your comfortable North Myrtle Beach condo rental, with the beach so close and the pools and other amenities, you’ll see just what you’re missing! Just remember, just as with golf, all things in moderation!
