A special place to go is Brookgreen Gardens with their Silent Cities Tours at 12 and 2:30 p.m. every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday through March 1. Take a ride on Brookgreen Gardens’ new Trekker through little known roads to their Silent Cities. On the tour you’ll walk through the graveyards of former slaves and plantation owners as well as learn about the burial customs of the people from that time. Tickets are $15 in addition to garden admission for the two-hour tour. Reservations are recommended.
If you enjoy musical comedies get your tickets now to see Bigfoot and Other Lost Souls performed at Atlantic Stage. The musical comedy tells the tale of a woman who lost a baby that she never knew she had. The music and lyrics are written by Mark Hollman. Adrian Royce wrote the book. The show is recommended for adults and children ages 12 and older. Bigfoot and Other Lost Souls will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and at 3 p.m. on Sundays through February 12.
