Annual Blessing of the Inlet

Myrtle Beach resortsThe Belin United Methodist Church Annual Blessing of the Inlet takes places on Saturday, May 5, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Join in this annual day-long celebration of worship, entertainment, great food, family fun and arts & crafts. The “Blessing of the Inlet” Ceremony will start at 11:30 am. Admission is free. The event, now in its 16th year, will be held at Belin United Methodist Church (4183 Hwy 17 Business) in Murrells Inlet. Call 843-651-5099 for more information.

The 31st Annual Blue Crab Festival will return to nearby Little River, SC on May 19 and May 20th, 2012. The festival will take place Saturday from 9am to 6pm and Sunday from 9am to 6pm on Water Front Ave. in nearby Little River. The event features live music, arts and crafts, food (including delicious steamed blue crabs), and activities for families and kids.
