North Myrtle Beach Family-Friendly Activities

Alabama Theatre

Located right outside of Barefoot Landing, Alabama Theatre is one of the Grand Strand’s favorite entertainment attractions. Enjoy an evening of singing, dancing, comedy and much more. The show changes every season so you never have to worry about seeing the same show if you are a frequent visitor. Visit year-round and experience their summer show or their Christmas show.

Alligator Adventure

BROADWAY AT THE BEACH

Broadway At The Beach offers everything you could ever want to do right here as visitors and locals alike revel in the features of the area. Hit up the IMAX Theater for a visually explosive film, do a little shopping then hit Hard Rock Cafe or Margaritaville for dinner and musical nostalgia. Stay a little while as Broadway at the Beach lights up and turns into Myrtle Beach’s own Sunset Boulevard, boasting all sorts of entertainment and nightlife at every seam. Cherry Grove Fishing Pier and Beach

Visit the area’s only pier with a two-story observation deck, perfect for viewing the sea below! The Cherry Grove Pier has over 985 feet of fishing or family fun. Miniature Golf

Not only does North Myrtle and Myrtle Beach offer some of the best golf courses on the east coast, but they also have many great mini golf options too. Find whatever mini-golf course looks most interesting to and try it out. There are more than 50 mini-golf places scattered throughout North Myrtle and Myrtle Beach. From octopus and marine life inspired miniature golf courses to volcanoes and plane crashes, the family and kids will not be disappointed.

Pirates Voyage

If it’s a rainy day, no worries check out this gem. Pirates Voyage is an action dinner theater presentation. Watch two pirate crews battle it out over the lost treasure of the Atlantic with high-flying action and heart-clutching drama. A fantastic score composed by Dolly Parton herself adds to the tremendous experience while amazing stunts and acrobatic flips and twists are done by pirate crews dueling in the air, on deck, and in the 15-foot lagoon built within the theater. Shark Wake Park 843

The Skywheel

This amazing attraction brings star gazing to another level…literally! The Skywheel allows you to travel 200 feet above sea level to engage the Atlantic Ocean in all of its vastness. Enclosed in climate-controlled, Swiss-manufactured gondolas, be in one of the only observatories of its kind in the United States. The Skywheel turns into an awesome LED display at night, creating a new attraction right on the oceanfront Myrtle Beach boardwalk and promenade.

The Track
