Broadway at the Beach is a huge complex that isn’t just a great place to go shopping. In the complex, there’s also a variety of dining options, attractions, and even live entertainment. Best enjoyed on a sunny day or for their unique nightlife options, Broadway at the Beach is primarily outdoors.

The Myrtle Beach Mall is in the midst of an ambitious overhaul to become The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Entertainment District. The District will offer new waterfront dining, shopping, and entertainment opportunities along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway by day and night. Located adjacent to the intersection of Highway 17 and 22, the mall is home to a smart combination of major national retailers, local specialty shops, and tantalizing restaurants – as well as South Carolina’s only Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World.

In-between shops, take in some community entertainment at Atlantic Stage (Grand Strand’s Professional Theatre Company) and the Carolina Improv Company (the only improv training and entertaining company in Myrtle Beach), or indulge in first-run blockbusters at the AMC cineplex with 3D & jumbo digital screens.

Inviting you to “shop, dine and unwind”, Barefoot Landing is one of the largest shopping complexes along the Intercoastal Waterway in North Myrtle Beach. It consists of several divided sections of stores, attractions and restaurants – over 100 to choose from, with many local and niche shops that you can’t find elsewhere.

It is a wonderful place to shop and take the whole family with you. Walk around on the many walkways present at Barefoot Landing and take in that brilliant coastal breeze. If you have kids in tow who grow a bit restless of shopping, they can visit the T.I.G.E.R.S. Center, Alligator Adventure, or LuLu’s Beach Arcade & Mountain of Youth Ropes Course. This is a great place to shop while in North Myrtle Beach, with over 50 stores to choose from! There is also a Tanger Outlet located in Myrtle Beach off Highway 501 (a short 15-minute drive). Most of the stores are outlets, providing amazing deals on clothes and shoes. It is a great place to take the family and walk around, look at the shops, and try some fudge samples at The Fudgery.

Tanger Outlet stores include: Old Navy, Carters, Disney, Nike, and Bath and Body Works. They also have a food court and Italian ice stands to choose from if you’re feeling hungry. Across the street from Tanger Outlets, there is a Walmart and a small shopping center with more clothing store options, including Marshalls, Ross, Kirkland’s and Burlington. Across the highway, there is also Myrtle Beach Mall with big-box stores like Belk, Bass Pro Shop, JCPenney, and a fantastic movie theater and food court.

Coastal Grand is a super-sized regional shopping mall located in Myrtle Beach next to the Myrtle Beach Airport. This is the second largest mall in the state with 1,047,732 square feet of retail space spread across one level. The mall houses over 170 specialty stores, as well as a 14-screen Cinemark movie theater and an arcade – both located in the food court of the mall. There are also excellent restaurants located on the outside of the mall for your pre- or post-shopping refueling convenience!
