2023 St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival in North Myrtle Beach

The 33rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival, organized by the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, the North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival takes place on Saturday, March 11, so you can enjoy Saint Patrick’s Day twice!

The festival starts early, rain or shine, and hosts a traditional procession of bagpipers, floats, classic cars, marching bands, and more.

The Parade

The parade passes through Ocean Drive and Main Street, showcasing some of the best and brightest the area offers. After the parade, the festivities move onto McLean Park, where visitors can enjoy various food, drinks, and entertainment.

Festival and Vendors

At the festival, guests can wander through the vendor tents, taste delicious Irish and American cuisine, listen to live music and peruse some of local businesses’ many goods and services. Crafters, retailers, and entertainers will all be on hand to help celebrate. In addition, there will be no shortage of green beer, traditional Irish dancing, and special appearances by St. Patrick himself.

This year boasts two contests.

  • Leprechaun Contest: Dress up in your Leprechaun best! Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, appearance, enthusiasm and energy.
  • Shepherd’s Pie Eating Contest: First to clear their plate (without using their hands) wins an awesome plaque and gift card.

There will be multiple stages of live entertainment at the festival. Bands this year include:
