Booking Your Stay

How do I book a vacation rental?

Book online at NorthMyrtleBeach.com or call 800-367-6515. If you are not sure which rental is best, call us and we can compare location, view, amenities, pricing, and specials.

Why should I book direct?

Booking direct gives you help from our local North Myrtle Beach team, accurate property information, and support before and during your stay.

Do you offer short stays?

Yes. Three-night stays are available on select properties and dates. Availability depends on season, property, and owner approval.

Are all rentals oceanfront?

No. We offer oceanfront condos, ocean view rentals, beach homes, waterway rentals, resort-style properties, and rentals close to the beach.

Payments & Cancellations

How much is due when I book?

A $500 deposit is required to secure your reservation. If you keep travel insurance, that amount is also due at booking.

When is final payment due?

Final payment is due 30 days before check-in. Unless otherwise requested, the card on file may be charged automatically.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel 60 or more days before arrival, $200 of your deposit is forfeited. If you cancel less than 60 days before arrival, full payment is forfeited unless travel insurance was purchased and your reason is covered.

Should I get travel insurance?

We strongly recommend travel insurance, especially during hurricane season from June through October. It may help protect your vacation investment if your reason is covered.

Check-In & Arrival

What time is check-in?

Standard check-in is between 3 PM and 5 PM, depending on unit availability. We aim for 3 PM whenever possible and will text you when your rental is ready.

Where do I check in?

Check-in is at our office, located at 408 Main Street, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.

Can I check in early?

Early check-in is not guaranteed. Guaranteed early check-in by 12 PM may be available for $150 when arranged in advance. Please call 843-272-4171 to check availability.

What if I arrive after 5 PM?

Late arrivals use the secure lockbox by the front door of our office. Please call 843-272-4171 before arrival to receive your lockbox code.

What’s Included

Are linens and towels included?

Yes. Fresh bed linens, towels, washcloths, and departure cleaning are included. Beds will be made before arrival, except sofa beds and Murphy beds.

Are sofa bed or Murphy bed linens included?

No. Sofa bed and Murphy bed linens are not automatically included. They can be purchased for $45 per bed.

Do you provide starter supplies?

Yes. Guests receive a goodie bag at check-in with starter paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish detergent, a sponge, 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, chapstick, a koozie, and a beach ball. These are starter items, so please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies for the full stay.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing beach towels, extra paper products, trash bags, coffee supplies, toiletries, sunscreen, beach gear, and any personal items you may need.

Property Rules

Are pets allowed?

Pets are only allowed in rentals specifically listed as pet-friendly or dog-friendly. Unauthorized pets may result in fees, eviction, and forfeiture of rent.

Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking is not allowed inside units or anywhere on the property, including balconies, garages, pool decks, stairways, hallways, and entrances.

What is the minimum age to rent?

Grand Strand Resorts rents to families and adults 25 years of age or older. We do not rent to high school, college, or non-family groups.

Can I bring a motorcycle, trailer, boat, ATV, or golf cart?

Rules vary by property and HOA. These vehicles are not allowed unless prior approval has been given. Please call before arrival if you plan to bring anything other than a standard vehicle.

During Your Stay & Check-Out

What if something is missing, damaged, or not working?

Please report it to our office as soon as possible. Early reporting helps us document the concern and work to resolve it quickly.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is strictly at 10 AM. Late check-outs are subject to a $75 per hour fee.

What do I need to do before leaving?

Please clear the refrigerator and freezer, take out the trash, load and run the dishwasher, and return all keys and pool bands to our office.

What if I leave something behind?

Left items may be shipped by UPS at the guest’s expense, plus a $35 handling fee. Grand Strand Resorts is not responsible for unclaimed items.
