Guests will munch on Paula Deen favorites such as fried chicken, grits, mashed potatoes, fried catfish, sweet potatoes, and collard greens. Fans of Paula Deen’s cooking show can visit her shop on the restaurant’s first floor to purchase cookbooks, chef gifts, bakeware, and more.

Señor Frog’s

Señor Frog’s is a well-known Mexican restaurant chain located in Myrtle Beach across from the Hard Rock Café on Broadway at the Beach. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the lagoon and the iconic Ferris Wheel.

Reservations are accepted; otherwise, expect a wait for a table on most nights. Elevate your meal by choosing a starter, such as the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail or the Cauliflower Wings. Some of the best entrees at Senor Frog’s include the Mahi Mahi Tacos, Chicken Mole, and Carne Asada.

Landry’s Seafood specializes in serving all its visitors world-class Gulf Coast seafood selections. Make a reservation for lunch and dinner with a waterfront view. Happy Hour is a must and you can get discounts on delicious appetizers, small bites, premium wines, and premium beers.

For dinner, the chef recommends courses that include Redfish Hemmingway and Flounder Melissa. New Orleans Crawfish Bread is a favorite appetizer crafted from crawfish tails, Louisiana spices, and mozzarella.

Extreme Pizza

If you’re looking for a more family-oriented restaurant in the northern section of Myrtle Beach, stop by Extreme Pizza. The restaurant is near the Mirror Maze and offers takeout, dine-in, and take and bake items.

The menu has two main categories: Carnivore Pizzas with toppings for meat lovers and Veggin’ Out Pizzas for meatless fans. The casual restaurant also offers a large selection of sandwiches and fresh salads.

Backstage Escape Games creates scenarios that require everyone in your group to work together and solve puzzles before the 60-minute timer runs out. Backstage is also the creator of the Mirror Maze—a 2,000-foot challenging maze made up of reflective surfaces.

For amusement park fun, try the Beach Rider Jet Boat—a roller coaster right over the water. Spin on the carousel to create fantastic memories at the beach. The Broadway Grand Prix has more than 20 racing-themed attractions, including kiddie rides, racetracks, mini golf, and an indoor arcade with air conditioning and heating.

Myrtle Waves Water Park

Check the calendar for popular Myrtle Beach festivals throughout the year. If you plan to attend any of these, include a stop at Broadway at the Beach. In January, many people attend Restaurant Week with special menus and discounts available at select restaurants, including locations found around Broadway at the Beach.

The Myrtle Beach Marathon in March attracts countless runners who wish to participate in the 5k, 10k, half marathon, or marathon races around the Myrtle Beach attractions. The Myrtle Beach Film Festival in April is a judged competition featuring celebrities debuting new wide-release and indie films.

The Sun Fun Festival in May is the official kickoff of the summer season in Myrtle Beach. The festival includes food, contests, a parade, and more. The Carolina Country Music Festival attracts some of today’s best country artists to the stage in June.

Over three days, the Myrtle Beach area hosts thousands of country fans and vendors. The fall and winter season will still be active in the south, with Myrtle Beach holding the Little River Shrimpfest, Harvest Hoedown, Beach and Chili Fest, and A Grand Strand Holiday.

There’s No Admission Fee

There’s no admission charge to visit Broadway at the Beach. Hours often change for the shops, restaurants, and attractions on Broadway at the Beach. Amusement parks and museums typically open around noon and close between 8 pm and 10 pm. Most businesses set their daily hours. During the off-peak season, attractions may close earlier.

You’ll Want More Than 1 Day Here

Many tourists don’t tackle Broadway at the Beach in a single day. You may choose to have a half beach day and then head to the entertainment to go on the rides at Pavilion Park for several hours. Many grab a couple of drinks at the bars after a long day in the sun.

There’s Plenty to Do on Rainy Days

On stormy weather days, it’s a great place to visit. You can explore any of the indoor attractions, such as the aquarium or wax museum. Most restaurants offer indoor dining, which you can book regardless of the weather. During the summer, if the weather is poor, arrive early to the complex as a way to beat the crowds.

It’s Mostly Family-Friendly

Most attractions are family-friendly, but a few restaurants and bars appeal to adults only. Adults may decide to spend the day at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville to enjoy music and drinks. Shows like Legends in Concert also don’t typically appeal to young children.

Not Everything is Scheduled

Performance art experiences may not appear on the Broadway at the Beach schedule, but you’re likely to see some entertainment acts during your visit. Fire dancing and steel drum players may take up temporary residence in the shops’ surrounding areas.

Although it’s possible to stay at one of the hotels right near Broadway at the Beach, you should expect more traffic, noise, and crowds if you go this route.
