Fireworks at Barefoot Landing
Who doesn't love some Labor Day fireworks?
Barefoot Landing steals the show with their annual fireworks show. This year the show is on Saturday, August 30th at 10 pm.
For the best views, we recommend you arrive early. Plus, this way you'll get to enjoy the variety of other events and attractions Barefoot Landing is famous. Shop, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy some live music before the main event.
Mustang Week
If you’re a classic car lover, this is the weekend getaway you need. All across the Grand Strand, from North Myrtle Beach down to Myrtle Beach, Mustang Week takes over.
This year the event is September 1-6.
Drive up and down Ocean Boulevard and see the classic American muscle car every place you look. People come from all over to show off their vintage mustangs and hang out with others who share their classic car passion. This car show is an eye-catching, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
La Belle Amie Vineyard
Enjoy a couple of glasses of local wine and good times at this serene vineyard in Little River. Come to their annual Labor Day fest featuring live music, delicious food, dancing, and of course the best one around town. This is something you don’t want to miss.
The party starts around noon and ends roughly around 5 pm on August 30th.
This year, grab your tickets for their Good Ol' Rock & Roll Show. This is a great alternative to Barefoot Landing for some more lowkey live entertainment or, for those really in the festive mood, you could go to the vineyard in the afternoon and head to Barefoot Landing afterwards.
Other Things to Do over Labor Day Weekend

Although fireworks, live music, and great food are also a good idea, there's more to the holiday weekend than just those events.
The weather is still warm in South Carolina this time of the year, perfect for beach days. Spend your time building sandcastles, splashing in the waves, or relaxing on the shore with a good book. The whole family is sure to love this late summer getaway.
For those looking for more entertainment options, drive south to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, where there's never a dull moment.
Our best recommendation? Let Saturday be the busy day and spend Sunday and Monday enjoying the warm sun and breathtaking views our beaches are known for.
Enjoy Labor Day in North Myrtle Beach
Labor Day is one of our favorite times of the year on our coastline. Although summer is winding down and most schools are already in session, there's something magnetic about a late in the season beach trip.
Just know that although fall is typically quieter than summer in North Myrtle Beach, Labor Day Weekend is the exception to the rule.
