Where to Eat on Thanksgiving in North Myrtle Beach (2025)

What could be better than a beach vacation, other than a beach vacation during Thanksgiving? Come and relax on the beach while it is still warm on Thanksgiving day, and let our local chefs cook for you.

From fresh seafood to Brazilian buffets, there is something for everyone in the family to be thankful for. Enjoy strolling through Broadway at the Beach and then pop into one of our favorite restaurants for a unique or traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Regardless of which restaurant you choose to dine at for your Thanksgiving meal, we highly recommend you call ahead to make reservations.

Here are a few of our favorite restaurants on the Grand Strand that will remain open for Thanksgiving.

 

Chestnut Hill

Chestnut Hill has been a part of North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach’s favorite spot for years, especially for their brunch.

On Thanksgiving each year, they serve a traditional buffet with southern fried turkey and all of the trimmings. They will also offer a carving station with lamb, prime rib, and Virginia ham. If you are in the mood for something lighter or fresh seafood, they have smoked oysters, salmon, and fresh local shrimp. Don’t forget dessert, try out their homemade pumpkin pie or pumpkin cheesecake.

 

Carolina Roadhouse

A locals favorite, Carolina Roadhouse has been serving Thanksgiving dinner for years.

Thanksgiving Dinner includes: Oven-Roasted Turkey Breast, Sugar-Cured Ham, Pecan Praline Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans and Carrots, Red-Skin Mashed Potatoes, Southern Herb Stuffing, Homemade Giblet Gravy, Cranberry Relish, Cornbread, & your choice of Pecan or Pumpkin Pie.

They'll also offer a la carte menu of their most popular dishes and the option to pre-order a meal to go.

 

Captain George’s Seafood Buffet

Head on down to Captain George’s to enjoy a country buffet. Captain George’s offers entrees from snow crab legs, clams, mussels, salmon, a raw bar, and many more. Choose from an array of sides like stuffing, mac and cheese, rice, broccoli, and anything else your heart may desire.

However, don’t fill up on the appetizers and entrees, you have to save room for their delicious desserts like pecan or pumpkin pie. There is something for everyone here even if you are not in the mood for a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

This Thanksgiving buffet is the perfect place to experience fresh seafood and country cooking all in one place.

 

California Dreaming

California Dreaming is offering all of your Thanksgiving favorites. From turkey to ham, sweet potato, and pumpkin pie, they will have all of your favorite dining options.

Their Thanksgiving meal includes: Oven-Roasted Turkey Breast, Sugar-Cured Ham, Pecan Praline Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans and Carrots, Red-Skin Mashed Potatoes, Southern Herb Stuffing, Homemade Giblet Gravy, Cranberry Relish, Cornbread, and your choice of Pecan or Pumpkin Pie. Don’t forget to try their delicious cornbread muffins.

If your group would prefer, you can pre-order your holiday meal to go.

 

Gulfstream Cafe

Want to enjoy your Thanksgiving in North Myrtle Beach by the water? Gulfstream Cafe has offered a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for years. Although the drive is about 50 minutes from North Myrtle Beach, the peaceful environment of Murrells Inlet is worth it for most.

Their Thanksgiving feast includes: Oven-Roasted Turkey Breast, Sugar-Cured Ham, Pecan Praline Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans and Carrots, Red-Skin Mashed Potatoes, Southern Herb Stuffing, Homemade Giblet Gravy, Cranberry Relish, Cornbread, and your choice of Pecan or Pumpkin Pie.

 

Hard Rock Cafe

Although located farther south in Myrtle Beach, the extra drive might be worth it for this event. Hard Rock Cafe located at Broadway at the Beach offers their “Thanksgiving Like A Rockstar” dinner. Enjoy the stress free meal, and talk about black Friday plans while someone else does the cleaning.

The dinner consists of turkey, fresh roasted vegetables, classic stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce. You can add dessert and an "Autumn Apple Fizz" to make your meal even more special.

 

Greg Norman’s Australian Grille

 

Located inside of Barefoot Landing, this restaurant gives all of the benefits of what creates a perfect turkey day. Enjoy live music throughout Barefoot, as well as all of the shops.

They will be offering a traditional Thanksgiving feast as well as a few choice items off of their regular menu. Sit back and enjoy the atmosphere and maybe even walk over to the House Of Blues for dessert after you finish dinner.
