We’re excited to welcome you and want your stay to be easy and enjoyable. Please review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth experience from check-in to check-out. If you need anything, our team is here to help. Our office location, main phone number, and 24-hour emergency contact are listed below for your convenience.

At Grand Strand Resorts, we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information presented on our website and other platforms. However, we cannot guarantee that all details, such as pricing, images, or descriptions, are free from errors or omissions. While our team promptly addresses any discrepancies, occasional mistakes may occur.

By using our website, you acknowledge and accept that Grand Strand Resorts is not responsible for any inaccuracies or errors and that such issues do not constitute grounds for claims or liabilities. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience these unintentional errors may cause.

  

Guest Information

Check-In & Check-Out

Everything you need to know for a smooth arrival and departure. From check-in times to late arrivals and checkout procedures, we make sure your vacation starts and ends stress-free.

Check-In Time

Standard check-in is between 3PM and 5PM, depending on unit availability. We aim for 3PM whenever possible. You’ll receive a text when your unit is ready, along with a printed copy of company policies and unit information.

  • Walk through the unit and note anything missing, damaged, or not working.
  • Report any issues immediately so we can resolve them quickly.
  • Enjoy your stay! Early reporting helps us fix issues faster.

Early Check-In

Early check-in is not typically available unless arranged in advance. Want to start your vacation early? Guaranteed early check-in by 12 PM is available for $150. Call 843-272-4171 to reserve.

Late Arrival (After 5:00 PM)

Arriving late? Use our secure lockbox by the front door of our office at 408 Main Street, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. Call 843-272-4171 before arrival to get your lockbox code. Get directions on Google Maps.

Check-Out Time

Check-out is strictly at 10AM. Late check-outs incur $75 per hour. Help us prepare for the next guests by checking out on time.

  • Clear out fridge/freezer

Suggested Items to Bring

We’ll get you started with a small goody bag of essentials, but to make your stay extra comfy, don’t forget to bring these items our guests often find helpful.

Private Closets & Shared Comforts

Some closets are locked for owners only. Unauthorized access may lead to fees. Feel free to use shared items like salt, dishes, or cookware, but please leave them for the next guest.

Prohibited Vehicles

Motorcycles, boats, trailers, ATVs, and other recreational vehicles must stay off the property unless prior approval is given.

From Sheets to Sunblock

Included Items

All rentals include fresh bed linens, towels, washcloths, and departure cleaning. Beds will be made (except sofa/murphy beds you can purchase linens for these for $45 per bed). Monthly guests must bring or rent linens for $45 per bed. 

Goody Bag

You’ll receive a handy bag with essentials: paper towels, toilet paper, soap, 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner, dishwasher pod, laundry detergent, and a bit of sunblock. Late arrival? Your bag will wait at the office.

Additional Rentals

Beach chairs, umbrellas, golf carts, bikes, and more can be rented via Cherry Grove Beach Services at (843) 309-3064 or visit their website.

  

Policies & Payments

Cancellation & Reservation Policy

Learn about our cancellation rules, reservation requirements, payment options, and how your money is handled so your stay is stress-free from start to finish.

Cancellation Policy

Strictly enforced: Cancel 60+ days before arrival? $200 of your deposit is lost. Cancel less than 60 days? Full payment is forfeited unless travel insurance is purchased and covers your reason. We recommend adding travel insurance for worry-free trips. Click here for more details.

Reservation Details

Booking Your Stay

A $500 deposit is required to secure your reservation. If adding travel insurance, that amount is due at booking as well.

Taxes & Fees

All reservations include 12% tax (State, County, City). Processing fees apply: $175 for weekly/monthly stays, $25/night for shorter stays (minimum $100 for 3 nights).

Payment Options

Credit Card: required online, optional via phone. Checks: accepted if received 60+ days before arrival. Returned checks incur a $35 fee. Reservation confirmation includes rental charges, fees, insurance, and damage waiver.

Final Payment

Full balance due 30 days before check-in. Late payment results in cancellation and forfeiture. Card on file is automatically charged unless otherwise requested.

Making Changes

Date or unit changes are allowed for a valid reason. Each change incurs a $35 fee to keep calendars accurate for all guests.

Where Your Money Goes

All payments are held in a South Carolina bank trust account. Any interest earned is paid to the rental agent.

  

Guest Protection

Travel Insurance

Protect your vacation investment and enjoy peace of mind with travel insurance coverage, especially during peak hurricane season.

Overview

Travel insurance is automatically added to all reservations. We recommend purchasing it, especially from June through October, the peak hurricane season. If kept, it will be paid in full at booking. Opting out removes the cost upon request.

What It Covers

This insurance protects against mandatory hurricane evacuations and emergency illness or death preventing travel. Please note: no refunds will be issued for hurricane evacuations without coverage.

Deadlines & Exclusions

Travel insurance can be added up to 30 days before arrival. Coverage begins 24 hours after purchase if not added at booking. Pre-existing conditions or named storms reported before purchase are not covered.

Final Notes

Guest Assurance

Help! My Rental Sold

While it’s rare for vacation homes or condos to be sold during your stay, sometimes it happens. We’ve got you covered.

Don’t Worry, We’ve Got You Covered

South Carolina law requires us to honor your reservation for up to 90 days from the deed recording date if your booked property is sold. We’ll notify you immediately and help find a similar spot. If the new property costs more, you can cover the difference or receive a full refund — no stress!

  

Guest Guidelines

House Rules & Guest Guidelines

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay, please review our house rules, policies, and guest guidelines carefully.

Unauthorized Entry

Unauthorized guests will be asked to leave immediately and forfeit all rent paid. The reservation holder is responsible for any related legal fees. Thank you for helping us keep things fair for everyone!

Who We Rent To

We rent exclusively to families and adults 25 and older. Violating this rule will result in denied check-in and forfeiture of all rental fees.

Quiet Hours

Quiet time runs from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM in North Myrtle Beach (City Ordinance No. 21-33). Please respect these hours for the comfort of all guests.

Damage Waiver Fee

Overview

Relax without worrying about a security deposit. We inspect properties before and after every guest. Report any accidents, and we’ll handle it.

Fee Details

A non-refundable $50 Damage Waiver Fee covers up to $1,000 in accidental damage, excluding intentional damage, unreported items, or gross negligence. Report damage immediately.

Repairs

If something breaks, we do not offer rent refunds but will repair it promptly to keep you comfortable.

Guest Policies

Sleeper Sofas

Best for children. No refunds or discounts for adult discomfort. Bring extra bedding or mattress toppers if desired.

Keys & Property Bands

Return all keys and pool bands to the office on departure. Lost keys: $35 each. Lost pool bands: $15 each unless noted.

Locked Out?

During business hours: visit the office. After hours until 9 PM: call 843-272-4171 for a $35 key. After 9 PM: call 843-272-4171 for a locksmith; guest covers cost. Never change locks—notify us immediately.

Occupancy Limits

Each property has strict maximum occupancy. Violations may result in fines or eviction.

Lost & Left Items

Items left behind can be shipped via UPS at guest expense plus a $35 handling fee. We are not responsible for unclaimed items.

Pet Policies

Restrictions

Pets are strictly prohibited unless noted. Violations result in $450 fee, eviction, and forfeiture of all rents. Damages caused by pets will be charged.

Dog-Friendly Units

Some dog-friendly condos available for a $450 non-refundable fee. Call 1-800-367-6515 for info and availability.

No Smoking

Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the property, including inside units, balconies, garages, pool decks, stairways, hallways, and entrances. This includes cigarettes, vapes, and all illegal substances. Violations result in a $300 fine — no exceptions.
