Pirates Voyage

Address: 8907 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572

Phone: (843) 497-9700

Cost: $30 – $50 / person

Pirates Voyage touts itself as “the most fun place to eat in Myrtle Beach”—and it’s not hard to figure out why. This lively dinner show takes guests into the heart of a spirited battle between Blackbeard and his nemesis, Calico Jack. The two lead their Crimson and Saffire crews in a battle on land, on deck, in water, and high in the sky for a night that’s not soon to be forgotten. The show includes amazing acrobatics and aerial acts, two life-sized pirate ships, beautiful mermaids, savvy sword-fighting, live animals, and so much more.

As for the feast, be sure to come hungry! The four-course Pirates Voyage dinner starts with a hearty bowl of creamy vegetable soup and buccaneer bread, followed by half a roasted chicken and captain’s BBQ pork with corn on the cob and herbed potatoes. Finally, be sure to save room for the ‘apple o’ me eye’ pie, a crowd favorite. Dinner comes with unlimited refills of tea, soda, or coffee, though adult beverages are also available. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available—just be sure to mention this with your reservation.

Showtimes and availability vary seasonally, and advance reservations are highly recommended. Peak season shows typically sell out, so save your spot well in advance. Dinner and show tickets start at $30 for children and $50 for adults and include the entire four-course meal and the entire show.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament

Address: 2904 Fantasy Way, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579

A battle of steed and steel awaits! Medieval Times is often thought of as the ‘original’ dinner and show combo, and we promise you won’t be disappointed.

The wildly entertaining show consists of six valiant knights that compete to become the Queen’s champion. Each section is decorated to match a player, so you’ll be able to cheer for your knight throughout each battle. The show includes horse tricks, also known as “Roman Riding”, jousting, hand-to-hand combat, and the majestic royal falcon—to name just a few of the exciting show elements.

It wouldn’t be dinner and a show without dinner, and the royal feast does not disappoint. Get started with a hearty bowl of tomato bisque and garlic bread, followed by half a roasted chicken, buttered corn, and an herbed potato. Finally, be sure to save room for the dessert of the castle. The meal also includes free refills on soda, tea, and coffee, though adult libations are also available for purchase. Medieval Times also offers vegetarian meals upon request.

Show dates and times vary seasonally, and reservations are highly recommended, especially during the spring through fall. Ticket prices start at $29 / person for children and $56 / person for adults. Upgrades and packages that include photos, priority seating, souvenirs, and more are also available.
