Park & Sports Complex Dog Park

The North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex provides a fenced in playground for your dog. This dog park includes separate fenced in areas for both small and large dogs. The park opens every day at 6:30 a.m.

McLean Park

Pet owners are welcome to bring their dogs on-leash to this clean and attractive parks. There are frequently community events taking place here that are open to the public.

Beaches of North Myrtle Beach

Dogs are allowed on the beach before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m. only during the off season. The exception to this are assistance dogs.

Most public beaches in the Myrtle Beach area are pet-friendly during early morning hours and late evenings year-round. Pets are not allowed on the beaches or Ocean Boulevard between 21st Avenue North to 13th Avenue South of Myrtle Beach at any time. Pets are not permitted to be walked on any public beach in Myrtle Beach between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from May 1st through Labor Day.
